Our classes are very informative and energetic.  Our classes focus on both internal and external training.  We start out with a series of stretching and conditioning exercises designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles and joints.  After the warm-ups, breathing exercises, basic hand strikes, and kicking drills are executed; they are followed by forms (hyung) practice, or joint-locking or falling practice.  Other specialized training and/or weapons training would complete a daily session.  Classes are usually finished with self-defense or Ki breathing training.

All belt ranks train together; however, children and adults are trained seperately.  Class activities are modified when appropriate such as in the winter when more warm-up is necessary for safety.

New students are given individual attention to make sure their training gets off to a positive start.  They are also encouraged to inform the instructors of any physical limitations or injuries that may restrict them so the training can be modified to help strengthen any weaker areas.  Students are NEVER rushed.  Even though we believe in training as a team, martial arts is an individual accomplishment.  We don't expect individuals to come in and jump right into class and keep up.  We believe in practicing hard but pacing ourselves to get in the best shape of our lives.  That is why each class ends with EVERYONE saying "I NEED MORE PRACTICE!"
